The aim of establishing the institute

The institute is under supervision of the High Education Ministry. The enrollment is through the organizing office of universities and high institutes according to the decree of the supreme council of Universities dated on 8-6-2004 with approval number 830.

The institute has graduated specialists in information system and computer science who have a great deal of knowledge and practical skills required in the authorities and institutes of Civil Aviation offering the scientific and technical consultations and aids to these institutes which use the computer and information technology and concerned about making and supporting the adoption of a resolutions.

Deepen the awareness of using the computer and information technology in the authorities and institutes of Civil Aviation besides improving its efficiency through the specialized training courses participating with the authorities and institutes of civil aviation developing and defining the systems programs and the different applications.

Organizing the deputies and assembling the scientific conferences to deepen the concepts and developing the scientific level among the specialized sections reappearing the graduates of the different faculties and institutes according to the work needed in the authorities and institutes of civil aviation in the modern fields of computer and information science through holding the specialized diplomas helping the scientific agreements with equivalent authorities and institutes on the local, regional and international level aiming at exchanging the experience and carrying out the researches concerning the domains of computer and information science in the different Aviation fields.

The advantages of the institute

The institute grantees a bachelor degree of computer and information Technology for Aviation and Aerospace which is equivalent to the bachelor degree granted by the Egyptian faculties.

Giving the same opportunity of the students who get more than 90% in IGCSE degree to be granted the bachelor degree of computer science from the faculty of computer and information (Ain Shams University) according to the C0. operation protocol has been signed with this faculty as it has distinct scientific balance not only on the local level but also on the international level it also has the best teaching staff members who have distinctive scientific degrees.

Aspiring to continue in distinguishing the superior students to prepare some of them either on the local level to get the scientific degrees (Master Degree /PHD) in order to work with to the protocol with the American university Embry Riddle which is considered on of the greatest specialized universities in the aviation field in the world.

Aspiring to be superior for the other institutes with regard to the profusion whole potentials (equipments, labs and applicant) which are distinguishing in quantity and quality for the students also in the nature of studying and its applications in the Aviation and Aerospace fields.

All of these points make it unique one the Middle East and Africa.

The classes contain no more than 25 students to have the opportunity of the direct connection with the teaching staff members and the direct communication with the parents to achieve the continuous prosecution of the students progress in the scientific level.

At the present time the legal measures are taken to establish on academy for the Aviation Transport consequently this institute will be a faculty of computer and information Technology for Aviation and Aerospace.

The ability of working in the Civil Aviation field besides the other sectors inside and outside Egypt (according to the attained qualifications) because then authorities and institutes of Civil Aviation are the most developing ones in the computer systems and information Technology.
